At Takeover: WarGames, the main event saw a WarGames match with Undisputed Era vs War Raiders, Pete Dunne, and Ricochet. After an all-out war, both Dunne and Ricochet pinned Adam Cole at the same time to secure the win for their team.
On Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez revealed how the double-pin might just lead to a storyline. This is what he said:
“The double pinfall in WarGames where it was Pete Dunne and Ricochet both pinning Adam Cole. There is a storyline there that will lead to the next TakeOver and given who has what belts you can probably figure it out.”
Due to the fact that both Ricochet and Pete Dunne are champions, we might be seeing a champion vs champion match in the future. If their previous match is anything to go by, it would be an instant classic.
