(Segment 1) Baron Corbin And Stephanie McMahon Kick Off Raw: Both of them rubbed in their ‘sweep’ of Smackdown Live. I say that in quotations because Smackdown Live won the Tag Team Survivor Series Match on the Kickoff Show, but WWE did not count that on the scoreboards. Braun came out to interrupt Baron and Steph talking about keeping Corbin around permanently. Stephanie announced Braun will face Baron at TLC. She also said if Corbin wins that match he is permanently Raw GM, but if he loses the match he loses authority altogether. Steph also said if Braun wins then he will get a Universal Title shot at the Royal Rumble. Steph then announced Corbin, Lashley, and McIntrye vs Strowman, Balor, and Elias for right now.
(Segment 2) Braun Strowman, Elias, and Finn Balor vs Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre: WWE once again uses lazy booking and sets up another boring 6 man tag team match with thrown together people. It is very boring seeing all these boring and meaningless tag team matches. Tag team matches in my opinion are very boring, slow, and meaningless. These type of matches do not add anything and are just overall slow. After they came back from commercial they announced that Baron Corbin turned this into an elimination match. Finn was the first to be eliminated by Drew after a Claymore Kick. Elias was eliminated after Balor, leaving Braun alone against 3 men. Drew was then eliminated after he hit Braun with a chair when he was covering Corbin for the pin. This whole match ended in DQ when all three men took out Braun outside the ring and hurt his hand bad. So Braun and friends won the match after the DQ. The first 2 segments ended up taking the first whole hour of time.
(Segment 3) Seth Rollins Addresses Dean Ambrose: Seth reacted to Dean’s actions and how he felt. Seth then said he wanted to face someone right now, then called out Dean. Dean then came on the big screen saying Seth was desperate and the Shield did more harm than good. Rollins then ran to the back after Dean told him to come and find him in the back. After Seth ran back there they moved into the camera backstage of Rollins trying to find him. Seth did not find Ambrose and instead took out some security guards.
(Segment 4) Sasha Banks and Bayley vs Nia Jax and Tamina: I think one day we can see this match up for the tag titles. Nia picked up the win after hitting the Samoan Drop on Bayley. The team of Nia and Tamina is a force and I expect them to do a lot more in the future.
(Segment 5) Lucha House Party vs The Revival: It’s crazy to think how low The Revival has gotten right now. The Revival lost to Lucha House Party and I have no words, complete BS.
(Segment 6) Ronda Rousey (c) vs Mickie James (Raw Women’s Title): I am not too thrilled about this match up but it is what it is. I thought we would get a better match u or a call up, but somehow we get Mickie James. Ronda picked up an easy win over Mickie to retain her title by making Mickie tap out.
(Segment 7) Bobby Roode and Chad Gable vs AOP: This started when Gable and Roode were making fun of Drake Maverick peeing his pants at Survivor Series. This would be a good feud for the Raw Tag Titles and I think some good matches can come out of it. Gable and Roode took a huge win over AOP and should be first in line for a title shot.
(Segment 8) Natalya vs Ruby Riott: What a five star main event we get…NOT. Talk about ending a boring and eventless night by ending it with this garbage. WWE would not know their ass from a hole in the ground, they are so clueless. Nattie picked a win.
Raw ended with Dean taking out Seth.
Overall Raw Grade: C-
