On this week’s RAW, Braun Strowman was brutalized and left bloody by a brutal assault led by Baron Corbin, with Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre joining in. This would cause him to get his elbow ”shattered”, which WWE exaggerated but he was indeed injured.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Braun definitely needed surgery and he needed it immediately, hence he was written off WWE television. This is what he said:
“Maybe he wants to have surgery this week because the longer he doesn’t have surgery, that puts the San Jose match in more jeopardy and they want to do the San Jose match. So he probably needed to do it, get that thing done right away.”
Hopefully, Braun Strowman will be back before TLC since he still has a match against Baron Corbin in December.
