WWE May Finally Care About What Fans Think Of The Company
Vince McMahon does whatever he wants with WWE since he is the owner. He doesn’t care what fans think and often does things just to rile them up. WWE loves drawing heat. But it seems things might change eventually.
It was noted Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE sent out a survey to fans asking what they thought of the company. A question, in particular, asked for their reaction to the decisions the company makes.
As noted, “Among the statements asked about that they were looking to reaction on is whether the company is too heavily directed by corporate interests, if the storylines don’t have enough time to develop, if some great wrestlers aren’t getting the coverage they deserve, if the wrestlers don’t have the ability to talk off the cuff, that there aren’t enough unique personalities, the stars aren’t as compelling as they used to be, if they feel the current champions haven’t earned their spots.”
This is interesting since WWE really doesn’t care much the fans’ opinions on the product. Since they went right ahead with WWE Crown Jewel to cite an example, which had upset many fans.
So, we will have to wait and see what WWE actually intends to do with the fan survey and if they’ll act on it or not.
