It was announced over the weekend at the latest set of NXT UK TV Tapings that WWE will be holding their first NXT UK TakeOver special, NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool on January 12th, 2019.
A video was shown of Triple H making the announcement was aired during the tapings, which can be seen below.
The event will be held at The Empress Ballroom, and is reported to seat between 2,000 and 3,000 fans. Tickets for the event went on sale 10 am local time this morning and were sold out within minutes. Currently there is no word on if more seating will be released for the event.
NXT UK TV Tapings are also scheduled to take place in the venue the following day.
