(Segment 1) Baron Corbin Kicks Off Raw With Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley: The three of them went back and looked at how they ‘injured’ Braun Strowman. During their promo the lights went out and then Elias appeared on stage. He sang a song about how Bobby Lashley sucks, their match started after Elias was done with his song.
(Segment 2) Elias vs Bobby Lashley: I love that Elias is face now, it makes him a lot more entertaining. Elias can have some great feuds as a face and really do some good things. Bobby on the other hand is better as a heel and I like him when he is more physical in matches. This is a great match up in my opinion and could be a great feud, especially having Lio Rush as Lashley’s mouthpiece. After Elias hit the elbow off the top rope he went for the cover but when the referee got to two Lio Rush pulled the referee out of the ring and called the match off, but then Corbin restarted the match as a No DQ match. Drew, Baron, and Bobby then attacked Elias. Bobby pinned Elias after the 3 of them destroyed Elias.
(Segment 3) Dean Ambrose Live From His Personal Physicial: Dean claims he is not there and is at the doctor. He also said he will not be apart of Seth’s open challenge. Ambrose said he is getting vaccines at the doctor, he was getting shots on camera at the doctor (which was really backstage obviously). This promo made no sense and had nothing to do with the storyline.
(Segment 4) Lucha House Party vs The Revival: This is a rematch from last week that saw the Lucha House Party win, and we got the same outcome this week. This is BS, The Revival need to be treated better and not be losing to Cruiserweights. This is why WWE is going downhill, horrible booking and clueless thinking.
(Segment 5) Nia Jax Talks About Her Match With Ronda Rousey: Nia talked about far Ronda has fallen and showed her getting beat up by Charlotte at Survivor Series. She also claims she has been on a roll while Ronda has fallen off, which is weird because Ronda is champion and is undefeated. Ronda Rousey then came out to interrupt her. Ronda said Nia could have a shot at her right now in a match but Nia declined. Jax and Tamina surrounded Rousey, then Natalya came out to help Ronda. Natalya was attacked by the Riott Squad. Ronda then saved Natalya by taking out the Riott Squad. I think we wil be getting a 10 women tag match next week.
(Segment 6) AOP vs Chad Gable and Bobby Roode (Raw Tag Team Titles): These are two great tag teams that are able to put on a good match when given time and effort. In a match like this they are not going to get full time or give full effort because they know they will be meeting again for the titles and do not want to use all their cards for one match, so they save some spots for other matches so the fans do not get bored seeing the same stuff over and over again. Drake Maverick ended up stealing Roode’s robe and running to the back with it. After he ran to the back with it he put it in the toilet and peed on it then flushed it. This distracted Bobby, when he turned back around AOP took him out and pinned him. I think we will be getting a rematch in the near future.
(Segment 7) Ember Moon vs Alicia Fox: I could really care less about this match and do not have much interest in it. I think Fox is a terrible wrestler and very annoying, so I usually change the channel when she comes on. Ember won after hitting the Eclipse.
(Segment 8) No Way Jose vs Jinder Mahal: I am so happy to see No Way Jose on Raw, but I am mad that he lost. Jinder gets a pointless win in a meaningless match.
(Segment 9) Seth Rollins Open Challenge (IC Title): Dolph Ziggler answered the open challenge and I was very bored about that. We have seen these two face off over 10 times and I did not want to see it yet again. WWE never fails to let down! Seth retained his IC Title after pinning Dolph.
(Segment 10) Bayley and Sasha Banks Q&A: These are obviously questions given to fans in the crowd and are not selected at random. There is no way WWE would give an open microphone to a fan in the crowd, especially not knowing what the question will be. Mickie James, Dana Brooke, and Alicia Fox attacked after they were asked one question. Only one question was asked and it was, “If you can change one thing about the Raw Women’s Division, what would it be?”.
(Segment 11) Baron Corbin vs Finn Balor: This is yet another match we have seen over and over again, and I also do not know why we are getting it again because they have not crossed paths for weeks. This match was just random and did not need to happen. WWE needs to get their stuff together because after tonight they will be losing a lot of people. Balor ended up getting pinned by Drew after Corbin made it a handicap match.
