On Friday, December 14 Cody has big plans for the title in his match against ROH champion Jay Lethal at the Hammerstein Ballroom, Final Battle.
He will take the World Championship title and leave with it into a free agency.
Cody is the former leader of Bullet Club but now called The Elite with the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega and Marty Scurll. He is the former ROH World Heavyweight Champion and former Six-Man Tag Team Champions with the Young Bucks. He is a former NWA World Heavyweight champion.
Back on December 2, 2016 at Final Battle, Cody wrestled Jay Lethal in his debut match for Ring Of Honor defeating Jay Lethal with a low blow, becoming a heel.
Final Battle will be available on Ring Of Honor website for Honor Club members and will be available on Fite TV.
