Alexa Bliss’ Status Is Still A Concern
Alexa Bliss was taken off from competing in the ring after suffering multiple concussions in a short span of time. She has been recovering ever since, with some being worried that she might never wrestle again. Mark Henry would give an update on Alexa’s condition, saying she was 100% cleared. But that might not be the case apparently.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez revealed that he has been told Bliss is taking it much slower than what Henry implied. He also explained the kind of bumps she has been taking at the Performance Center. This is what said:
“What I heard about Alexa Bliss is she will probably remain out until Royal Rumble. Watch her wrestle next week on RAW, but anyway, that’s what I was told.”
“The Performance Center has a bunch of rings, but one of the rings they’ve got, the entire ring is a crash pad. So when you hear that Alexa Bliss is taking light bumps and that sort of thing, she’s not even bumping in a real ring right now. At least as of last week, she was taking bumps on the crash pad and they were making sure she could bump on a crash pad without I guess ending up with vertigo.”
He noted that it is a “bad situation there” and then later confirmed she still is not fit for an in-ring return.
Hopefully, she will be returning soon enough. But for the time being, she will continue her role as an authority figure on RAW. No matter how long it takes, she should only be back when she is ready.
