Chris Jericho Reveals He Talked To Many Wrestling Companies
Chris Jericho truly does whatever he wants. He is the biggest free agent in the wrestling world right now. After his Wrestle Kingdom Match with Tetsuya Naito, he will have a free schedule. So it is a question where he will go after that.
Jericho spoke to Dalby on 104.9 The Wolf, where he was asked about all the options he has at hand with regards to his wrestling career. He confirmed that he spoke to Impact Wrestling, New Japan and did not dismiss All Elite Wrestling. This is what he said:
“I think that’s one cool thing about this whole year is it’s really given fans of Jericho a lot to be happy about and a lot to look forward to, lots of surprises from the Kenny Omega match last year to us talking today. The best thing is I don’t know what I’m going to do. There’s nothing set in stone.”
“I have spoken to people in all those organizations that you mentioned (AEW, NJPW, & Impact Wrestling). Impact, I had a great conversation with them the other day in Toronto, there are some great matches I could have there, and why wouldn’t I go if it was right? There are a lot of matches in Japan I would still like to have. Is Tony Khan opening his own company? I have heard nothing that says he’s not.”
It is uncertain as to where Jericho will go once he is done with WK 13. But wherever he will go, he is bound to make headlines. Since that is what Chris Jericho does.
