WWE Reportedly Considering ”Queen Of The Ring” all-female pay-per-view in 2019
WWE has big things in store for 2019 and that includes bringing in an old concept and slightly tweaking it.
According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer discussed the possibility of WWE introducing the King of the Ring tournament for the women. The proposed tournament will be called “Queen of the Ring” and will take place next year.
Meltzer noted it was only an idea being thrown around at this point. However, WWE is definitely looking for ideas for yet another all-female pay-per-view in 2019.
WWE Evolution was the first-ever all-female pay-per-view, which took place in October. This would be the second event to be exclusive to female superstars. It would also be the third major tournament-based show in the last few years involving female superstars. The first two are the two Mae Young Classic tournaments.
