Heath Slater’s First Match As Referee On RAW
Heath Slater was forced to compete against his long-time friend Rhyno in a match where the loser would be fired from RAW. Slater won the match, but that meant Rhyno was fired.
Slater would receive more bad news backstage, where Baron Corbin told him he was a WWE official from now on.
Heath refereed his first match this week on RAW, where Lio Rush faced Elias. Heath was in a very rough spot as the referee.
Bobby Lashley would interfere in the match, beating down Elias. But as he was Baron Corbin’s friend, Slater could not disqualify him as he needed the job due to having kids.
Lashley laid on Elias with his own guitar right in front of Heath Slater. Slater would hesitantly count to three for the win. This was definitely not a good way to begin his career as a referee.
