WWE Superstar Kevin Owens has been out of action after needing to undergo double knee surgery to repair the damage to both of his knees.
While nothing has been announced as to when we can expect to see Kevin Owens back in a WWE ring, his current injury status was discussed on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio. Dave Meltzer noted that it still might be awhile before we are able to see Kevin Owens return to in-ring action.
Regarding Kevin Owens current status, Meltzer said:
“Kevin Owens is due late February, early March but they may hold him off until after WrestleMania.”
While it appears as that Owens will be able to return prior to WrestleMania 35, it is not known if the company will book him for a program for next years Mania or if they will hold off and bring him back on RAW or SmackDown the following nights.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything else regarding Kevin Owens rehab from double knee surgery, or plans for WrestleMania 35.
