As previously reported, NXT superstar and one half of the NXT Tag Team TM-61, Nick Miller, was released from WWE. The reason for his release has not been confirmed.
Dave Meltzer reports that Nick Miller and his wife had a child in Australia in August. Instead of returning to the USA, Nick decided to stay with his family in Australia. It was certainly a difficulty decision for Nick, but he asked for his release from the company.
It is to be noted that the door is still open for Nick to return at some point in the future. His former tag team partner Shane Thorne will be preparing for a singles run.
Both Shane Thorne and Nick Miller had great success in the Australian indie wrestling circuit. It would not be surprising if Nick never comes back to WWE, as he might just continue wrestling in Australia.
