Asuka made a name for herself in NXT, remaining undefeated until she faced Charlotte Flair at Wrestlemania 34. Afterwards, she was booked very poorly and fans were worried she would never get pushed again.
Thankfully, that was not the case as The Empress of Tomorrow won the Smackdown Women’s Title at WWE TLC.
Asuka took to Twitter and sent a touching tribute to her fans, thanking them for all the support she has received and sticking by her.
She wrote “Thank you for supporting us, always. Thanks to you, the final party was a huge success. Who is the champion now?…… It’s me, Asuka.”
