Braun Strowman was set to take on Baron Corbin at WWE TLC. The conditions being, if Corbin won, he would become the permanent General Manager of RAW. However, if Strowman won, he would get a Universal title shot at the Royal Rumble.
Strowman was taken out last month by Corbin, and Corbin hoped he would win by forfeit due to Braun not appearing for the match. As Slater proceeded to start the count out, Braun would appear and make his way to the ring with his right arm in a sling.
The Monster was then assisted by RAW superstars, including a returning Kurt Angle. They would beat down on Baron Corbin for all that he did to them for the past month.
Corbin was decimated by the superstars. Then, Braun Strowman would pin Corbin, getting the win. So he lost his position as the Acting General Manager of RAW.
So Braun Strowman will be facing Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble for the Universal Championship.
