During the main event of the Christmas edition of Smackdown Live,
Shinsuke Nakamura defended his United States Title against Rusev.
In what was a true surprise and delight for fans, The Bulgarian Brute defeated Nakamura with a Machka Kick and became the new US Champion.
It is certainly a good thing to see Rusev finally getting pushed again. We look forward to see how he will be booked from now on.
