Vince McMahon appeared on RAW and made some big announcements. One of them was six NXT superstars being called up to the main roster.
On Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez that the call-up was already in the works and that it was earlier than expected as Vince McMahon said he was going to make a big announcement on RAW.
“All of the various call-ups. Every call-up that was announced last night on RAW. I am told that they were scheduled to be called up in January and they just bumped it forward because they wanted to do a show where Vince McMahon came out and turned everything around.”
“So it’s not like these people weren’t going to be called up. They were always going to be called up. They just happened to be called up early as part of the storyline that they’re turning things around.”
We will have to wait and see how the new call-ups will be used in their respective brands.
