The wrestling world has been buzzing this week since the announcement of the launch of All Elite Wrestling. The upcoming event that AEW is holding next week in Jacksonville, Florida – the same night WWE is holding their SmackDown LIVE Tapings in the city, will shed more light on plans, as The Elite will reveal more information and news about the company.
On a recent audio update via PWInsider, Mike Johnson talked about the AEW event scheduled for next week in Jacksonville. Regarding The Elite’s potential announcements, Johnson said:
“I would assume they’re going to announce the debut show on Tuesday. That stands to reason. I don’t know if they’re going to announce the TV show, but I would think whatever will be the first All Elite Wrestling live wrestling event would be announced on Tuesday. Because if not, what’s the point of the rally?”
