Popular Independent Wrestling Promotion Bans Fan From Event After Vulgar Tweet About Toni Storm
After NXT UK Superstar Toni Storm’s personal and private photos & video were leaked online, she has received an amazing amount of support from fans, fellow wrestlers, wrestling companies, and promoters world wide.
The #WeSupportToni campaign has been a popular trending hashtag on social media as support for her continues to grow. Now, one popular independent wrestling promotion has taken it a step further in showing their support of Toni Storm by banning a fan who had purchased tickets to their event after he made rude and inappropriate comments about her on twitter.
The Twitter user had tweeted about the leaked photos asking if anyone had copies of the stolen images, he then followed it up by making a very crude and inappropriate comment or “joke” as he saw it.
(Warning the comments are indeed NSFW and vulgar in nature.)
The fan tweeted, “Sick of seeing this Toni Storm sh*t already, everybody going on like she’s died when really she just loves a bit of c*ck.”
UK Independent Wrestling Promotion Defiant took notice of the users tweets and rude comments, they then realized that the person had purchased tickets for their upcoming event. The company then decided to take a stance and show their support for Toni Storm by banning the fan from the event and cancelling his ticket order.
Defiant Wrestling tweeted, “Hey @thewrestlinnoob, you probably won’t see this given you’ve since deleted your account…But you’re not welcome on Saturday. We have cancelled your 2 tickets. You can explain to your friend why they no longer have one.
Don’t buy from elsewhere; your face will be on the door.”
