Canadian Wrestler, Alexis Smirnoff, has passed away at the age of 71 due to complications from diabetes. He passed away in hospice care due to kidney problems.
PW Insider confirmed his passing through Canadian pro wrestling historian Pat LePrade.
Smirnoff debuted in 1970 and was an anti-American heel. He worked for AWA, WWE and in different territories in San Francisco, Georgia, and Florida.
