The road to WrestleMania kicks off on January 27th when WWE will hold one of their biggest events of the year the 2019 Royal Rumble. This year’s Royal Rumble takes place from Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.
This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW kicked off with a pull apart between Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins. Many WWE Superstars came to try and break up the two, we even had a Zack Ryder sighting during the segment. Eventually however, John Cena made his way out.
John Cena said that he was going to earn his “golden ticket” to this year’s WrestleMania, he then officially announced that he was entering the 2019 Royal Rumble Match.

It had previously been reported that Cena was once again taking time away from WWE as he begins filming a new movie which is also scheduled to begin production on January 27th.
