KUSHIDA Will Be Leaving NJPW
Yujiro Kushida has been with NJPW since 2010, where he began his run by winning four of seven matches in the Best of the Super Juniors tournament.
During his time in NJPW, he captured the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship six times and won the IWGP Jr Heavyweight Tag Team Titles twice with Alex Shelley as a part of the Time Splitters.
Kushida was defeated at Wrestle Kingdom 13 and it seems his time with NJPW is done.
Kushida took to Twitter to announce that he would leave the company at the end of January. Here is what he said, translated.
Thank you for your continuous support. I announced that I will leave the New Japan Pro Wrestling at the end of January. I made this decision to use up my life as a professional wrestler. Trying your hands, trying a chest, trying out a lesson, a staggering game, curiosity … If you express your feelings now, such words are present in your mind.
