Yesterday Braun Strowman teased a confrontation with WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar on RAW. As we saw on last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Strowman came to the ring and called out Brock Lesnar.
Many commented last night on how the segment with Strowman and Lesnar seemed awkward, and appeared to fall flat. It appears that there may be a very good reason why last night’s “confrontation” failed to deliver.
According to Bryan Alvarez on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Braun Strowman apparently forgot his lines.
Regarding Braun Strowman’s segment on last night’s RAW, Alvarez said:
“Yeah, Braun Strowman forget every single line.”
“Strowman’s a big guy, people like him. He does those trainwreck segments that everybody thinks is great. The reality is he’s not your top guy. He cannot deliver in the ring unless you’ve got gimmicks. Straight professional wrestling matches I mean he’s not top level.”
“As we saw last night he’s not clear to wrestle so he had to do a talking segment and he’s not a main event talker. He’s not even close to being a main event talker. He’s forgetting his lines, stumbling through things, it was awkward.”
