Brock Lesnar will defend the Universal Title against Braun Strowman at WWE’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view in Phoenix Arizona on January 27th. However, when Lesnar showed up on this week’s RAW and confronted Braun Strowman, the two men did not get physical at all.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained why WWE had a good reason for letting the two fight it out on RAW. This is what he said:
“I wanna make something clear that Braun Strowman is not cleared because that’s also why what happened tonight happened because he’s not cleared for anything physical yet.”
We hope Strowman will be cleared in time for the Royal Rumble. After all, it is a Universal Title match and Braun simply can’t afford to miss out on it.
