AEW announced the addition of Joey Janela & Penelope Ford, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, PAC, and Chris Jericho at yesterday’s Double Or Nothing Rally in Jacksonville.
The announcement of the addition of these talents to the AEW roster brought some questions regarding the exclusivity of their contracts and what it meant for the future of Chris Jericho’s Rock-N-Rager At Sea, and Joey Janela’s Spring Breakout.
Cody Rhodes addressed the future of the events being put on by fellow AEW wrestlers Chris Jericho and Joey Janela at a press conference following the AEW Rally. Cody revealed that both Jericho and Janela will be allowed to do their events while part of All Elite Wrestling. Cody stated:
“I can actually confirm that Joey will be able to do his Spring Break shows and Chris will be able to do his cruise.”
In addition Brandi Rhodes added by saying that they at AEW want to be friendly with others, that they are not about shutting doors and that there is no reason to do so.
