Hideo Itami faced off against Cedric Alexander on 205 Live, where the winner would get the final spot in the fatal four-way for the Cruiserweight Championship at the Royal Rumble.
Itami defeated Alexander and thus earned the final spot in the match.
Itami will join Kalisto and Akira Tozawa in challenging Buddy Murphy for his title.
WWE also posted footage of Buddy Murphy reacting to his upcoming title defense at the Royal Rumble. He also announced that he will have an open challenge on next week’s show.
