Details On WWE Deal Rejected By The Young Bucks
WWE certainly wanted The Young Bucks to sign with the company and were willing to make huge offers to ensure that. However, The Young Bucks turned them down and started All Elite Wrestling instead. They reportedly had a great deal offered to them by WWE.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Triple H offered The Young Bucks money that was “roughly the same as WWE Champion AJ Styles.”, which is definitely a huge sum of money. However, there was more to the deal that made them reject it.
It was also reported that WWE planned on making Being The Elite a weekly show on the WWE Network. WWE also gave The Young Bucks an interesting option in the deal that was noted as “I’ve never heard WWE concede on before.”
According to the report, WWE offered Nick and Matt Jackson a six-month window at the beginning of their contracts. During that time, they could pull out from the contracts if they didn’t like how they were being used. WWE might have had big plans for The Young Bucks if they had signed with the company.
In the end, they went for All Elite Wrestling. Perhaps the six months taken by The Young Bucks to realize they did not like working with WWE would have meant that they would be too late in joining All Elite Wrestling as well.
