The Rock Says Controversial Interview Was Fake
The term “Generation Snowflake” means people who are younger and get easily offended.
The Rock recently spoke to The Daily Star about Generation Snowflake and those who belong to that category. Here is what he said on the matter:
“I don’t have to agree with what somebody thinks, who they vote for, what they voted for, what they think, but I will back their right to say or believe it.”
“That’s democracy.”
“So many good people fought for freedom and equality – but this generation are looking for a reason to be offended.”
However, in a turn of events, it seems that the interview itself was faked.
The Rock denies having taken part in that interview. He wanted to clear the air on this matter, and he did so on social media.
“I can’t believe I have to do this again and set the record straight on something, but I’m happy to do it. Earlier today an interview dropped with me, apparently with me where I was insulting and criticizing millennials. “
“The interview never happened. Never took place. Never said any of those words. Completely untrue, 100%. It’s fabricated. I was quite baffled when I woke up this morning.”
“You know I’ve gained such trust and equity with all of you guys all around the world over the years and you know it’s not a real DJ interview if I’m ever insulting a group, a generation, or anyone. Because that’s not me, that’s not who I am. That’s not what we do.”
It is a shame so many people got angry at him for making those comments which were faked.
