WWE’s NXT UK brand will present their first ever TakeOver event today as NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool will air live on the WWE Network.
Back in November of last year WWE made news when they signed one of Europe’s top wrestling talents WALTER to be a part of their NXT UK brand. WALTER’s debut has been highly anticipated since the news of his signing, and speculation as to when the superstar would debut has been a topic of discussion as of late.
Historically, WWE likes to debut incoming NXT talents at TakeOver events that feature the incoming Superstar in the crowd during the show. Today’s NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool event should be no different, as we have been hearing rumors that WALTER is set to make his WWE NXT UK debut at TakeOver: Blackpool.
It was not said exactly what WALTER’s involvement or role at TakeOver: Blackpool will be, but it is expected that he will be appearing at ringside in the crowd at some point during today’s broadcast.
