Natalya On If Chyna Should Be Inducted Into WWE Hall Of Fame
As we draw closer to Wrestlemania, it also means that we are getting closer to the WWE Hall of Fame. Every year, fans speculate which superstars from WWE’s past will be inducted into the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame.
Chyna passed away in 2016, and she is one of the most discussed wrestlers who should be given a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame. She was a founding member of Degeneration-X and is still the only woman to have ever won the Intercontinental Championship. Quite a few people have vouched for her to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Among others, that also includes Natalya as she was interviewed by Kevin Cerrito on Sports 56/87.7 in Memphis. Here is what she said:
“I think that one day it will definitely happen. She really paved an incredible road for the women of the WWE and she was so unique. If you look back at those great memories of her, she really defined coloring outside the lines and being bold and bright and beautiful.”
While the Women’s Revolution did not happen when Chyna was around in the Attitude Era, she still did a lot during her time in WWE. She was the first woman to participate in the Royal Rumble and King of the Ring. She also defeated men in the ring frequently.
“She was a pioneer for the women’s movement in general. So, I think definitely one day we’ll see it. A lot of people have said, ‘We should have this person in the Hall of Fame. And we should have this person in. And that tag team should be in.’ The thing is that WWE is not going anywhere. WWE is going to be around for a long, long time so everybody, I believe, is going to get their due and I believe Chyna will be one of them.”
Hopefully Chyna will eventually be inducted into the Hall of Fame, which she rightfully deserves.
