Goldust might be joining All Elite Wrestling
All Elite Wrestling is shaping up to be a solid promotion, as it already has a great roster of talented wrestlers, but more talent is always welcome. The company is already going after WWE superstars. It seems that Goldust might be joining his brother Cody Rhodes in All Elite Wrestling.
While Goldust is currently injured, he is definitely keeping tabs on All Elite Wrestling, especially what Cody is doing. He recently praised Cody after AEW was announced.
On Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast, Joe Peisich said that there might be a chance of Goldust jumping ship to AEW early so that he could help his brother. Here is what he said:
“They are talking to Jim Ross, they are also talking to Mike Tenay and I heard a rumor, I could not get this confirmed but I heard a rumor and it’s interesting to see because this organization the [Vice] President or whatever you wanna call it what happens to Goldust? I have heard that Goldust may get a release by the WWE and come to All Elite Wrestling. So that’s big news there.”
AEW is currently going all out for WWE superstars whose contracts will expire this year. Anything can happen in the world of professional wrestling, so Goldust joining AEW is definitely not unthinkable. We will have to wait and see what happens.
