WWE always has big announcements to make. The company currently has five brands, including RAW, SmackDown, NXT, NXT UK, and 205 Live. However, things might change.
On the latest audio update of PW Insider Elite, Mike Johnson speculated that WWE could be preparing fans for another huge announcement that will change the company, as brand splits might be done away with.
“They announced that the call-ups from the NXT brand would be appearing on both RAW and SmackDown so that fans can see what they’re all about. Maybe I’m adding up 1 and 1 and getting 7, but that plus the Women’s Titles going back and forth between RAW and SmackDown and a couple of SmackDown Live events being cancelled means that the walls that define the brand split are crumbling down, we will see.”
Anything is possible in WWE, so this won’t be a surprise if it does happen. We will have to wait and see until then.
