Toni Storm won the NXT UK Women’s Championship at WWE NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool. Toni faced a lot of personal problems this past month and even Triple H commented on them. However, Toni remained unfazed by it all.
She recently spoke to The Hindustan Times where she talked about the kind of pressure one can get being a champion in WWE.
“I have been a champion all over the world and that comes with a certain level of pressure. Now, with me winning the WWE UK women’s title, the pressure will be at a whole different level. But, I am ready for the challenge and I have worked hard for this moment. I want to face the best talent and I want to be the champion for a very long time.”
Toni is just 23 years old and has many years to go for her WWE career. NXT UK might just be the start for the young champion.
