Here Is What You Can Expect To See On Tonight’s Episode Of WWE RAW From Oklahoma City
Tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW comes to us live from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
This is the go home episode of RAW before this weekend’s Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View. A lot went down last week on RAW, what does this week hold?
Here is what you can expect to see on tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW as highlighted by the following focal points featured on WWE.com
WWE Raw preview, Jan. 21, 2019: Rousey and Banks battle in tag team action six nights before their Royal Rumble clash
Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will team with Natalya to take on Sasha Banks & Bayley just six nights before Rousey and Banks’ title clash at Royal Rumble. Meanwhile, after winning an intensely competitive Fatal 4-Way Match, Finn Bálor earned the right to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble event. Can The Extraordinary Man end The Conqueror’s reign?
Finn Bálor believes he can slay The Beast
Even though there were many who didn’t believe in Finn Bálor, he always believed in himself, and it was that mindset that propelled the ultra-athletic Superstar past John Cena, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin in last week’s Fatal 4-Way Match main event to earn a Universal Championship Match against Brock Lesnar at WWE Royal Rumble.
Now that he has a chance to reclaim the title he never lost, Bálor is on a collision course with one of the most powerful competitors in WWE history. Can The Extraordinary Man succeed in defeating the nigh unbeatable Beast Incarnate? And what does Paul Heyman think of his client’s new challenger?
Ronda Rousey & Natalya to square off against Sasha Banks & Bayley this Monday night
With the Raw Women’s Championship Match between Ronda Rousey and Sasha Banks at Royal Rumble rapidly approaching, the two Superstars will cross paths this Monday on Raw when they face off in tag team action as Rousey teams up with Natalya to take on Banks and Bayley on the red brand.
With the animosity between The Baddest Woman on the Planet and The Boss ramping up over the past week, both on the last edition of Raw and on social media, what will it look like when the two have a chance to get their hands on one another just six nights before their title clash? And how will their respective best friends, Natalya and Bayley, impact the dynamic in this first-ever tag team match?
Find out when Raw airs live on USA Network at 8/7 C this Monday night!
New Superstars make their presence felt
This past Monday night, new Superstars EC3, Lacey Evans and Heavy Machinery made shocking (albeit brief) appearances on the red brand, while Nikki Cross actually competed on Raw alongside Bayley and Natalya in a winning effort against The Riott Squad.
The new Superstars from NXT will be showing up on both Raw and SmackDown LIVE until they land on a specific brand. Who will we see in action this week?
What’s next for Braun Strowman?
As Finn Bálor prepares to go one-on-one with Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at WWE Royal Rumble, Braun Strowman is out of a title match and $100,000 after tearing the door off Mr. McMahon’s limousine in a fit of frustration (you can thank Baron Corbin for that). After The Chairman’s dual punishments, the behemoth astonishingly flipped the limo over completely.
The Monster Among Men was forced to leave Raw this past Monday night following his act of vehicular destruction, but what awaits Strowman this week?
The Bobby Lashley era has begun
Lio Rush has yet another reason to sing the praises of Bobby Lashley now that “The All Mighty” is the bearer of the Intercontinental Championship after defeating Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in a Triple Threat Match. Expect no small amount of celebratory posing when Lashley walks into Raw with the workhorse for the very first time.
Don’t miss any of the action on Monday Night Raw, live at 8/7 C on USA Network!
