No WWE Career Reportedly In Rob Gronkowski’s Future
New England Patriots All-Pro Tight End Rob Gronkowski has made a few appearances for WWE over the years, most notable being his WrestleMania 33 Kickoff show spot where he helped his friend WWE Superstar Mojo Rawley help win the Andre The Giant Battle Royal.
Rumors of a potential WWE career have popped up over the years as the NFL Star has contemplated retirement at the conclusion of the past few seasons.
With Gronk and The Patriots once again making the Super Bowl, rumors of his retirement have again been popping up. According to a new report from Ian Rapoport he says that a potential WWE career does not appear to be in his future.
Rapoport said:
“From @NFLGameDay: As #Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski mulls retirement this offseason, it doesn’t sound like the WWE is in his future. Perhaps movies, though. … This is very important news.”
