REPORT: The Revival Prepared For WWE Release For Weeks
The Revival asked for their WWE release this week after RAW. However, they were not granted their release by WWE.
However, that wasn’t enough to stop the team from preparing to leave the company. Dash Wilder copyrighted “#FTR” on New Year’s Day, which has a lot of history with The Elite. So they teased going to AEW.
On Wrestling Observer Online, Dave Meltzer discussed The Revival’s release request. Here is what he said:
“So they purchased the trademark of Forever The Revival (#FTR) which is interesting because #FTR was the Young Bucks’ thing. I think it’s not a secret everyone in the world knows, it doesn’t take a genius to know that they would probably love to go to AEW and work with the Young Bucks because they know they’ll get to have their twenty-minute matches that they don’t have in WWE. Not because they don’t have the talent to do it because obviously, they’ve got the talent. They have the talent with Roode and Gable, they just don’t have the time.”
The Revival’s release request could result in them getting a push. After all, WWE can’t afford to let any superstar go right now. We will have to wait and see what happens.
