What WWE Plans For The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles
The next pay-per-view after The Royal Rumble is The Elimination Chamber, where we will see the first ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions crowned. There are still some questions regarding the titles.
It isn’t clear who will be competing in the match and it’s also a question how one set of titles will be enough for five brands.
Triple H addressed this during a post-TakeOver: Phoenix conference call. The Game chose not to divulge much information regarding the titles. Here is what he said:
“I think there’s been discussions about all of that as far as where that ends up I’m not 100% sure where that will net out I think the intention is to deliver the best thing they can for the women’s division and I think when I look at both Raw and SmackDown there’s a lot of talents that they have that once they have a goal in mind and the women start to get together work on the same page in tag style like that I think you’re going to see a lot of them excel.”
“I think that gets very exciting so I think you have to play that by ear about where it goes. How quickly you get there is that multi-branded is that floating, I’m not really sure I think that will be played out as time goes on.”
We will have to wait and see what happens as far as the tag titles are concerned.
