What Does WWE Have Planned For Kacy Catanzaro After Her Memorable Debut At The Royal Rumble?
As we saw last night at the 2019 WWE Royal Rumble, we saw the debut of numerous NXT Superstars in both the Men’s and Women’s Rumble Matches.
One of those debuts in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match was NXT Superstar Kacy Catanzaro. The 29 year-old Catanzaro is also a former competitor on American Ninja Warrior. She was able to showcase her incredible athletic ability last night during the Women’s Rumble Match, when she was able to do a handstand and make her way backwards back to the ring post. From there she wrapped her legs around the post and pulled herself back up and scaled the post and made her way back into the ring without her feet touching the floor.
Catanzaro’s performance last night during the Royal Rumble was discussed in a recent audio update via PWInsider Elite. Mike Johnson mentions that although he hasn’t heard of any plans to bring her up to the main roster, that he feels they should do so as soon as possible and compared her to a female version of Rey Mysterio.
Regarding Kacy Catanzaro, Johnson said:
“I haven’t heard that they are bringing her up but they need to bring her up ASAP. She could be the female equivalent of Rey Mysterio Jr.”
You can see Kacy’s tweet talking about her appearance last night at the Royal Rumble, and a video of her remarkable spot during the Women’s Rumble Match below.
