Last night WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett made his return as a surprise entrant at the #2 spot in the Men’s Royal Rumble match. Elias drew the first spot, so this led to an fun interaction between the two to start off the Rumble match.
Well that might not be the last time we see Jeff Jarrett make a WWE appearance, it’s been reported that Double J has signed a contract with the company in the role of a backstage producer.
According to a report from 1Wrestling.com, Jeff Jarrett has signed a contract with WWE and will be a backstage producer with the company. The report was confirmed by PWInsider, and it was added that Jarrett will also be appearing on camera for WWE in some capacity.
Jeff Jarrett is also backstage for tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW in Phoenix where he will be joining new WWE producers “Hurricane” Shane Helms and Sonjay Dutt.
