Chris Jericho Announces That He Will Return To New Japan
Former IWGP Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho lost his title to Tetsuya Naito at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 13 earlier this month. Following his loss Jericho stated in a locker room interview post match that he had his sights set on IWGP Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi.
Jericho then showed up as a surprise at the All Elite Wrestling Double Or Nothing Rally in Jacksonville when he announced that he was ALL IN with ALL ELITE, as he officially signed his AEW contract shortly after.
Jericho continues to make headlines as he announced earlier today via his official Instagram account that he will be returning to New Japan Pro Wrestling in the future. While it could always be that Jericho is again trolling fans online, it appears as though Y2J does intend to work for NJPW at some point in the future, however that probably won’t be any time soon.
