Becky Lynch won the Women’s Royal Rumble match and earned the right to challenge a champion of her choosing for main event Wrestlemania. This past week on RAW, she chose Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey as her opponent.
This is a true dream match which was hyped since Survivor series last year. However, there are many rumors that suggest Charlotte Flair might be included in the main event, making it a triple threat match.
According to Sports Illustrated, they were told by WWE sources that the idea is to jave Wrestlemania end with Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey, without Charlotte Flair being there at all.
“With only 67 days until the event, sources close to WWE have told Sports Illustrated that the current plan is to close WrestleMania 35 with the Ronda Rousey-Becky Lynch match as the main event.”
There are still more than two months to Wrestlemania, and plans could easily change, as nothing is certain yet. So we will have to wait and see what happens.
