WWE brought back Jeff Jarrett as a backstage producer and an on-screen presence, which has left people wondering what he’ll even do.
Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio noted that Jarrett’s return has only one purpose – to put over Elias as a heel.
“Jarrett’s obviously just short-term thing. Just a way to turn Elias. Why they would want to turn Elias I don’t know, but that seems to be the idea.”
Jarrett is a thirty year veteran and can certainly help put Elias over. We will have to wait and see how things pan out.
