At this year’s Royal Rumble PPV we saw Sasha Banks challenge Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women’s Championship. Although she was unsuccessful in capturing the belt, Sasha put on a stellar performance. Unfortunately however, it now appears as though Sasha Banks suffered an injury during the match.
According to a report from John Pollock of Post Wrestling, Sasha Banks was injured during her Royal Rumble match with Ronda Rousey last weekend. Apparently Sasha was not cleared for last week’s RAW, but is expected to be cleared to compete for tomorrow’s RAW.
Regarding Sasha Banks injury, Pollock said:
“Sasha Banks was not cleared after her match with Ronda Rousey last Sunday at the Royal Rumble, but she is expected to be cleared for Monday’s Raw and her tag match with Bayley against Nikki Cross and Alicia Fox.”
