Finn Balor challenged Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at the Royal Rumble, where he was unable to win the title. However, it seems that Balor is set for another shot for a different title now.
Bobby Lashley is the current Intercontinental Champion and has been on a roll as of late, with Lio Rush as his mouthpiece. On this past week’s RAW, Finn Balor had an altercation with The Almighty, which saw Lashley beat down Balor.
WWE previously announced that Balor and Lashley were going to face off in a match on the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW, but has now confirmed that Finn Balor will be challenging Bobby Lashley for the Intercontinental Championship.
It seems that Finn Balor’s performance at the Royal Rumble has impressed Vince, as he is immediately going after a title again. We will have to wait and see if Finn manages to beat Lashley for the title.
