There have been reports circulating this week concerning the health status of SmackDown LIVE Superstar AJ Styles.
It had been reported by John Pollock of Post Wrestling that Styles was “dinged up,” then later reported by Dave Meltzer that the injury was more serious than that, and that Styles had suffered a hernia. However, that report may not be accurate at all.
We saw on tonight’s episode of SmackDown LIVE that AJ Styles came out at the end of the night and executed numerous moves, which he probably would not have been able to perform had he suffered a hernia. Fightful‘s Sean Ross Sapp reports that sources he has spoken too backstage had no knowledge of any hernia ailing AJ Styles.
“I was told people backstage didn’t hear of AJ Styles sustaining any type of a hernia or anything like that.”
So, we will have to keep an eye on this one and see exactly how injured if any AJ Styles really is.
