Randy Orton Reportedly Openly Discussing His Willingness To Speak With AEW
It was reported yesterday via Wrestle Votes, that All Elite Wrestling had reportedly made an “outstanding” offer to a current “big time” WWE Superstar. The report went on to say that the offer itself is said to be “almost too good to turn down,” however the would not name the Superstar they were referring too.
Well, according to a new report from Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful‘s Post-SmackDown LIVE show, he stated that he asked around and was told that the “big time WWE Superstar” that Wrestle Votes was talking about, is actually Randy Orton.
He goes on to say that he does not know if AEW offered him a contract or not, but that when he reached out to All Elite Wrestling they stated that they were not tampering with any WWE Talent.
Regarding Randy Orton’s potential interest in All Elite Wrestling, Sapp said:
“Now they did not reveal the name and I know who the name is. Now before I get into this, I am not saying that this person was offered a AEW deal. I’m not saying that happened because I don’t if that happened. In fact, I asked people in AEW about this and I was told, “We are not tampering. We are not doing that. Our approach is fresh and independent is the goal for a majority of our recruitment. What you’re likely seeing is a particular agent trying to leverage more money out of WWE by possibly planting shit like this.”
“What I was told this afternoon, was that Randy Orton has been openly discussing his willingness to speak with All Elite Wrestling.“
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more concerning Randy Orton or anything else concerning possible WWE Talents and All Elite Wrestling.
