WWE Superstar Lio Rush Makes Controversial In-Character Statement To Fan
A video surfaced Wednesday night showing a clip of a video chat which contains 205 Live and WWE superstar Lio Rush seemingly mocking a WWE Fan who suffers from a disability.
Lio appeared to be making fun of the fan, and the fan responded by saying that he had a disability. Lio then asks the fan what his disability is, to which the fan let’s Lio know that he is autistic. Lio laughs and says “that’s okay. I’m moneytistic” while fanning money in front of the camera. You can see the video embedded below.

After further review, the video appears to be taken out of context. Bodyslam reached out for a statement from Lio Rush, but haven’t received one. There appears to be no malice behind it and we have been told that Lio and the fan spoke after the live video was recorded. The video shows Rush in character and does not reflect Lio as an individual.
