As reported earlier, Mustafa Ali was pulled from the Elimination Chamber match due to an aggravated injury.
Ali’s injury certainly wasn’t Randy Orton’s fault, as Fightful reports that fans shouldn’t blame Orton for his injury.
This change has nothing to do with the black eye Mustafa suffered on last week’s Smackdown Live in his match against Randy Orton.
The injury reportedly took place during Ali’s match in Fort Wayne, Indiana last night where he won a tag team match with Tye Dillinger facing off against Shelton Benjamin and Samoa Joe. The injury was aggravated thanks to this.
It is also reported that Randy Orton will be taking the blame for this storyline-wise. While Ali reportedly said he will be okay to compete, WWE didn’t clear him. So we will have to wait and see who his replacement will be.
