Ronda Rousey Likely To Wrestle For WWE Following WrestleMania
It has been rumored that WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will be taking time off from WWE following WrestleMania 35, despite her shooting down the initial reports.
It was said that Rousey wants to take time off from the road and focus on her family. No timeline has been given for when Ronda would return from her hiatus, however it sounds like Rousey might continue to wrestle after Mania.
On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez mentions that he is pretty sure that Ronda Rousey will wrestle at least another match following WrestleMania 35.
Regarding Ronda Rousey wrestling for WWE following WrestleMania, Alvarez said:
“I would bet with 85% certainty that you’re going to see a three-way at Mania and you’re gonna see a Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch singles match in May or whenever the next pay-per-view is.”
Alvarez then goes on the say that he feels the Triple Threat Match between Rousey, Lynch, and Flair at WrestleMania for the RAW Women’s Title will likely be a better match than any singles match that Lynch and Rousey might have. He also goes on to state that Becky Lynch is very likely to end up the winner of both matches.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more concerning the WrestleMania 35 Main Event for the RAW Women’s Title or news about Ronda Rousey’s future post-Mania.
