Former WWE Superstar MVP Reveals Why He Left MLW In Cryptic Tweet
MVP was once on the upper card in WWE winning a number of championships. After leaving on his own terms, he joined NJPW. There he was their first ever Intercontinental champion. Later MVP started a podcast for the MLW Radio Network called the V.I.P. Lounge with former WWE writer Alex Greenfield.
When MLW decided to become an actual wrestling promotion instead of just a podcast network, MVP was one of the first wrestlers they advertised and became a backstage producer. With MVP having a podcast and a wrestling job with the company, the parties seemed to match pretty well.
Suddenly at the beginning of 2018, MVP announced his departure from MLW. MLW is known to keep a lot of their problems in house, and it takes a while for news to leak to the public.
A fan recently asked MVP if he could write an article on MVP in the fans MLW Facebook group. MVP answered and after a few replies to his original tweet. MVP revealed why he left the company.
It appears former wrestler and current podcaster and Head of Talent Relations for MLW, MSL was the reason for MVP to leave the company.
Not much is known beyond these few tweets. What MSL said, and to whom. We do know the fallout was bad and according to MVP the damage is irreparable.
